About me
Hello! I was born in Hong Kong but have also lived in
Thailand, Indonesia, Switzerland, Japan and Chicago. I earned my B.A.
in History with a minor in Evolutionary Processes from Northwestern
University. I also received my teaching certification in History with
an Endorsement in Biology. I then earned a Post-Graduate Certificate
of Education from the University of Nottingham.
I began teaching World History and International Relations in Park Ridge, outside of Chicago. I taught IB Biology and grades 8-10 Science at KIS International School in Bangkok, Thailand for three years. Now, I teach IB Biology, ESS and TOK at ASM. My interest in the IB program began when I was a student in high school. I earned his IB diploma and am now an IB Biology Examiner. I have also taught World Scholars Cup and Model United Nations. When I am not teaching, I love to hike, ski, read, travel and play basketball and badminton. I also have passion for singing, and am part of a choir in Milan. I am also certified in Japanese Tea Ceremony! |
